Question?
If you could create and enforce your own law (state or federal) what would it be and why?
Mine? Recurring driving tests throughout the years to keep your license (and keep old people and idiots off the road.)

Legalize marijuana.
Lower the drinking age to 18. If you're old enough to fight in a war for the country, you should damn well be old enough to drink.
I'm with Matt...
BLAH your law sounds good in theory, but I when I had to retake my driving test because I got a ticket for "failure to observe highway sign" (aka not slowing down around a turn) I almost FAILED and let me tell you, I was sweatin some serious bullets. That sucked.
My law would beeee... you must speak fluent English to work in the USA. More specifically, the fast food drive through. :)
I completely agree with you. People SUCK at driving!!!
I agree with both you and Matt! :)
Oh my G-d... We're really twins.
That is EXACTLY what I would say. As a matter of fact, I do say that.. All the time.
1. Legalize same-sex marriage.
Why? Because of a wonderful doctrine known as the separation of church and state. Why political figures (ahem, George Bush) cite religious reasons as justification for denying citizens a civil right is beyond me. It is as if they do not realize that there are actually two distinct versions of marriage in this country -- religious marriage under the auspices of a church and civil marriage under federal or state law.
(stepping off soapbox now)
I second the lovely Miss Musing.
I agree with Miss Musing!
Same-Sex Marriage
Marriage is a Civil Right!
i agree with lower drinking age.
i think mine would have to be something about driving slow in the left lane...maybe it'd be that i (and only i) had permission to just run them off the road or something :)
Legalizing same sex marriages, agreement with Jacqueline.
