My apologies for being absentee the last few days. Haven’t felt much like doing anything really other than curling up in a ball and crying until everything just sorts itself out. As you may know my pathetically menial joke of a job finally realized that yes, in fact, the entire company was a joke and decided to lay off half the staff, including yours truly.
Yesterday.
So here I sit. Alone at the house when I should be procrastinating at work. Wondering when things will ever go the way they’re supposed to?
(BTW: There’s much, much more to this story which I don’t care to get into right now. Mostly to keep some quasi-anonymity intact but also because I’m just tired of talking about it. And no, none of this “more to the story” includes me deserving the layoff by way of cussing my boss out Clark Griswold style [although he deserves it], vandalizing the property, threatening to shoot the place up or any crazy behavior of the sort. I may be nuts (according to the Boo) but I’m not that nuts.)
But on the bright side, tomorrow the Boo and I (along with his Baby Bro and O-face) will be departing for O-HIO where I’m crossing my fingers that it will be perfectly cold and breezy and fantastical fall weather!! Down here we don’t get much of that and I miss it super bad around this time of year.
So today’s mostly just been a bunch of chaotic craziness in our last attempts to make sure everything is ready for the big vacay. (That’s what happens when you get two always-think-ahead-plan-everything-to-a-T perfectionists together.)
Needless to say I probably won’t be posting while I’m away. (Unless I can snag some free Wi-Fi at the hotel and stay up late into the night blogging [most likely drunk] while the Boo snores away in oblivion. Which on second thought is not entirely out of the realm of possibility.)
Until then, stay tuned kids!

Hugs to you. I'm sorry to hear about your job, even if it was a joke. Being laid off is never fun.
You have to admit that had you done everything you mentioned, it'd make for one hell of an interesting story.
Have a safe and enjoyable trip.

P. S. Planning? What is that?
Seriously woman you and I must somehow have the same DNA coding or some freaky shit like that. (Minus the milk loving/hating part.) I LOVE Christmas Vacation. Love love love. Except I still love The Grinch more.
"They want you to say grace" ... "The BLESSIINNGGG" ... "I pledge allegiance, to the flag..."
Tehehehe that's my favorite part!
P.S. Sorry about your job! Grr they can all go suck a nut. Or two.
