Way to go Obama! You’re finally in!!

It’s a momentous occasion. A day to be remembered. A turning point in history.

The country is alive with hope and patriotism. That’s all great and splendid.

Meanwhile, my neighbors below me seem to be setting their people back decades in just mere minutes. It seems as if my African-American neighbors have taken it upon themselves to perpetuate every negative stereotype imaginable. Apparently they don’t understand the concept of verb noun agreement. Or why they shouldn’t be shouting their grammatically incorrect and expletive filled rants back and forth from their patio to their walk in closet. Or why the use of the N word (particularly in such excess) is frowned upon.

I’m sorry. I am by no means racist but I’m not exactly a proponent of ignorance either. From anyone. And on what was/is suppose to be such a collectively harmonious day of ushering in an era of change and equality, they’ve gone and dismantled my peace and harmony.

Now in the spirit of the day, I’ve elected to go against my instinct and not yell some of my own advice downstairs to our friendly feuding foursome (ahhh you liked that alliteration didn’t you?)

But if they interrupt my American Idol tonight, so help me God, I’ll be fittin to buss a cap in someone’s ass! Ya heard?
